Newsom places more California National Guard troops at border to combat tide of smuggled drugs — mainly fentanyl — from Mexico

In an effort to combat illicit drugs — namely fentanyl — from being smuggled into California from Mexico, Gov. Gavin Newsom will increase the number of California National Guard members.
